The Friends of the Littleton Library and Museum, the Littleton Museum, and the City of Littleton are not responsible for any damaged, stolen or missing items.
Crafter shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sponsor from and against any and all claims, liabilities, demands, causes of actions, damages, losses and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable attorney’s fees and costs of suit, arising out of or in connection with: (A) any actual negligent or willful act or omission of crafter or any of crafter’s employees or contractors, or; (B) any actual or alleged violation by crafter or any of crafter’s employees or contractors of any law, statute, ordinance or regulation.
Sales tax
After the Craft Fair, all crafters are required by law to submit a sales tax return to both the City of Littleton and the State of Colorado. The pdf of these forms is provided below. After the Craft Fair, print the forms, fill them out, and submit them to the addresses indicated on the forms. Those crafters who do not submit tax returns could likely be contacted by the city and/or state sales tax departments and risk sales tax penalties, interest and not be invited back to future Craft Fairs. The combined tax rate for Littleton and Colorado is 8.5 %.
Equipment
Tents, chairs, tables, etc., must be supplied by the crafter. All crafters must display their articles within the boundaries of their allotted 10’X10’ space. If this is not adhered to, the crafter will be asked to move the articles back into the allotted space. If you choose not to move back, your name will be removed from future Craft Fair participation. Any tent color is acceptable, but tents are not required.
For safety reasons, tents must be staked down securely to withstand adverse weather/wind and be advised that you accept the liability for any damage or injury caused by your tent or equipment. With the exception of concession vendors, electricity will not be provided to any booth by the Sponsor.
Crafter cancellation
If you cannot attend the Craft Fair, be sure to notify us immediately (see refund policy below). If a space is assigned to you and you don’t show up the day of the Craft Fair without prior notification, you will forfeit your entire booth fee and most likely will not be invited to future Craft Fairs.
Weather cancellation
Be advised that this Craft Fair is a rain, snow, or shine event and first Saturday in October is the specific date planned for the Craft Fair. It is therefore highly unlikely that there would be any cancellation due to inclement weather and no refunds will be made for such. However, if weather creates a safety issue, the Sponsor reserves the right to reschedule or terminate the event.
Force majeure
If a force majeure event other than weather occurs that results in the cancellation of the Craft Fair, a full credit of the booth space fee will be granted to be used at a future Craft Fair event.
Cancellations prior to August 1st will receive a full refund minus a $20 cancellation fee. Cancellations from August 1st through August 31st will receive a full refund minus a $60 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given after August 31st unless the booth space can be filled by a wait list replacement, then a $60 cancellation fee will apply. We reserve the right to allow for acceptance of roll-over of cancellations to reservations for the subsequent year depending on circumstances for the specific crafter.
COVID has certainly affected everyone over the last several years and our Craft Fair is no exception. Depending on what COVID circumstances are at the time of the Craft Fair and for safety’s sake, we will expect all crafters to abide by Covid and other health measures as established and mandated by the relevant health and government authorities. This may include but is not limited to: wearing of facemasks by crafters, volunteers and attendees, social distancing / spacing standards, hand sanitizers, vaccine mandates, etc.
